How to become a Technical Support Specialist
Most employers require their technical support specialists to hold a four year bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology. A certificate or associate's degree is sometimes sufficient, but to maximize employment potential, a bachelor's degree is recommended. Some employers also prefer that workers earn certification and have a minimum of three months experience in technical support.
