How to become an Organic Farmer

Although not a pre-requisite, many farmers choose to go to university and get a degree, with some getting a master's degree in business administration for agriculture.

Others find the best way to learn about organic farming is to get a job on an organic farm, where you can get hands-on experience and learn the skills necessary. You will also learn about the different types of soil, preparing the soil for planting, tilling, planting, controlling pests, irrigating crops and harvesting crops. You will also learn how to take care of livestock, and work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
